但我覺得數學理論基本上都係被發現多過被發明, 因為好多野一早已經自然地存在, 係ZFC依類野先比較似發明

RicKula 2018-10-6 01:30:23 我認同 mathematical theory 係被發現 (discovered) 的, 只有terminology and symbol 呢類 what I call communication tools 先係被發明(invented) 的, 而我地就係透過呢堆野tools去 understand, present, and communicate 個theory. Sometimes we even gain insight about the theory from the way we make these tools.

On the other hand, my personal take is to humbly admit that mathematicians do not invent theory; they explore and discover them.
