With the mod: 76° - 78°
Without the mod: 90° - 92°
Difference: about 14° - 16°
佢原理概念大約係:
- it forces the Switch to bypass the hot air inside the circuit board enclosure, and pull in colder air from outside the dock.
- The part is nothing more than an air duct that isolates the incoming cooling air from the dock's circuit board. That means the board, which produces heat (but not so much that it necessitates active cooling itself) otherwise radiates its heat into the stream of cooling air being pulled into the system. This duct prevents that from happening. A 15° difference in temperature (not just a few degrees, the measurements in the video proves it's more than that) is definitely believable...
- Judging by the design, Nintendo didn't do it because they wanted the fan to pull cooling air across the dock's pcb to cool it as well, but it really doesn't get hot enough to justify preheating the air coming into the Switch.
