Johor is the 2nd largest seat in terms of amounts of seats. It’s the home of UMNO, where UMNO was formerly established.
UMNO has always considered Johor as impregnable. Even in GE13, PH only won 5 seats in Johor. So if they win 21 seats in Johor, it is a remarkable indication of the swing towards to the opposition.

GE14 | Pakatan Harapan has reaffirmed its hold over Penang, confirming that it will once again form the state government.
State DAP chief Chow Kon Yeow confirmed that DAP has retained all its seats, including worrisome ones in Tanjung Bungah, Pulau Tikus and Sungai Pinang.
Gerakan, MCA and MIC have once again lost all their seats they were contesting in.
Massive voter unrest outside the Ayer Hitam results centre in Johor - there’s a rumor going around that the election commission refused to sign off on results with the opposition winning.
The crowd is trying to stop unmarked cars from entering the centre - they suspect vote tampering.
