i understand the stance of hmg in the uk, but i mean if british national (overseas) also with chinese nationality (i mean majority bn(o)) were given the following option
a. grant full british citizenship, but they will (under amendment of law in hong knog) lost or no longer have the right to remain in Hong Kong as resident
b remain a BN(O), but they will as if british overseas citizen(boc) / british protected person(bpp), considered a dual national and the only way for full british cittizenship
(i.e. you can't have your cake and eat it/魚與熊掌不可兼得)
i wonder how many of them will choose option A
Language shall no longer a barrier for the younger to live abroad, i guess.
