Henry Bolton was forced out as leader of UKIP on Saturday after party members backed a vote of no confidence in him.
Delegates at an extraordinary general meeting of the party in Birmingham voted 867 to 500 to oust Bolton, the BBC reported, after he was reprimanded for having an affair with a model who reportedly made racist comments.
Bolton was elected UKIP leader less than five months ago, the fourth leader in less than two years after Nigel Farage resigned following the Brexit vote.
