Raf usual commitment 係12年，咁你army有無話要至少做幾多年？同埋raf要26歲前一定要做咗iot，army係咪無咁多規矩？最後一樣如果兩隻手成個手臂都有紋身會唔會有影響？

1 ask the careers office. They know better than any one of us.
2 erm i only know the officer's route. Basically, you would be admitted to Royal military academy Sandhurst after you passed aosb. Then, you would be asked initially what regiment or corps u wanna join by your platoon commander(有three choices). At the very last two weeks of your training(44weeks for regular officers and 8 weeks for reserve), u would be asked again which two u wanna join the most and u would get interviewed by the regiment. If both regiments dun bloody want you lol, u get thrown to the pool and other regiments who still have space left can pick you. If more than two regiments chose you of cuz u can choose which one to join.
3 depends which role of cuz. Usually infantry or royal armoured corps死得最多. 我個人會choose RMP once i m in Sandhurst.
4 唔知

The training centre you'll go to depends on the Corps that you join:

Catterick, Yorkshire: Infantry

Pirbright, Surrey: Army Air Corps, Royal Artillery, Royal Signals, Adjutant General’s Corps, Army Medical Services and Intelligence Corps.

Winchester, Hampshire: Royal Armoured Corps, Royal Engineers, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

From the above, it appears that you have a choice as to which corp you want to join. However, it is a two way thing - you want to join and the Corp wants you!

You may have a better chance to join an engineering corp and gain skills there which can be of some use in civilian life.

Another thing is that the British Armed Forces has a very good pension scheme which is similar to the 長俸 system formerly in use in Hong Kong.

heater 2018-1-6 17:35:02 I met a friend hold BNO and got a bachelor in UK. After he graduated from Sandhurst UOTC. Military personnel department said he cannot be an Army Officer due to his nationality.

HKG3 2018-1-6 18:02:30 BN(O) passport holders can become soldiers in the British Army. (see example below) It is a different matter with regards to officers, as I would expect additional background checks.
