香港海關今日（1日）在社交平台宣布舉辦「香港海關搜查犬BB命名大賽」，邀請全港市民為8隻剛出生兩個多月的海關自家繁殖搜查犬幼犬取名。這批幼犬將以「Champion（冠軍）」一詞的字母作為名字開首，寓意牠們未來能成為自信無畏的海關得力助手。
海關指，是次命名比賽將持續至4月13日，所有香港居民均可參加，每人限參加一次。參賽者需為8隻幼犬（6雌2雄）各取一個英文名字，名字開首須分別對應「C、H、A、M、P、I、O、N」字母，其中以「M」及「O」開首的名字須為雄性。參賽者需提交建議名字及100字內的命名意義說明，連同個人姓名及聯絡電話電郵至pcsd_otpc@customs.gov.hk。
