Royal Ascot recruiter Nick Smith said he’s had conversations with James Cummings about the prospect of campaigning a Godolphin juvenile in the Commonwealth Cup.
The Cummings-trained filly Tempted ran third in this year’s Golden Slipper, while stablemate Beiwacht finished unplaced.
“The key person I’ve always spoken to about it is James Cummings, and James, obviously, had the third-placed horse in this year’s Slipper,” he said.
“He’s always expressed an interest in doing it with the right horse.”
