Crashed 25 Dec 2024 at SCO whilst attempting to make an emergency landing. The aircraft had a downward angle when it turned to line up for the runway, lost height and nose-dived into the ground. Prior to impact the aircraft had been flying erratically over the Caspian Sea, with significant changes to its altitude and speed as well as being off course to its usual routing between Baku and Grozny as flight J28243.
