新簽證 Skills in Demand Visa - late 2024
* 4年臨時工作簽證 (取代現有TSS 482)
* 預計會減少員工被剝削的情況
* 更鼓勵簽證持有人的換工轉行業既流動性
* 更多保證轉永居的途徑
* 其中會有以下三個途徑 (pathways)
1. Specialist Skills Pathway
- 容許所有除藍領外所有工種申請
- 年薪不低於A$135,000和同等澳洲員工薪酬
2. Core Skills Pathway
- 預計為最主要最多人申請的pathway
- 會有新的職業清單 - 務求會更符合更滿足當時的勞動市場短缺要求
- 年薪不低於TSMIT (現時為A$70,000) 和同等澳洲員工薪酬
3. Essential Skills Pathway - 政府仲研究緊 (The Government will urther evaluate how to develop an Essential Skills Pathway—a more regulated pathway for lower paid workers with essential skills)
新政策 -
1. TSMIT Indexation (每年調整) - 2024年7月實行
2. Labour Market Test 簡化 - 廢除Workforce Australia要求 (已經生效)，有效期將會延長4-6個月 (late 2024)
3. 學生簽證提高英文要求 - 已實行
4. 畢業生簽證提高英文要求 - 已實行 - 雅思總分 (或同等) 6.5分 - 不過香港人唔受影響
5. 新Genuine Student Test取代舊有 GTE - 已實行 - 一樣需要審核申請人既學習動機同自身職業發展是否相關
6. 限制境內轉校 - 2024年初/中實行
7. 改革畢業生簽證 - 已公佈確定將於2024年7月1日開始實行 - 年齡要求降至35以下 (香港人豁免) / 分支將會改名 (‘Post-higher Education Work’ and ‘Post-Vocational Education Work’) / 審理時間將會規範係21日內
8. 改善技能認可和評估制度 - 2024年初/中實行

B. 新Talent & Innovation visa - 2024年底開始 - 會結合GTI同創新投資移民
C. 改革僱主擔保資格既審理要求 - 2024年初/中開始
