battersea 呢個圈內既得. 不過, 完全無freehold 係個個價錢, 全部只有leasehold. 你要問番ground rent 同service charges 幾錢. ground rent 幾耐會double 一次個價錢. 同埋仲有咩係唔做得 (俾如裝修邊d 野要問過freeholder 之類)

其實leasehold唔應該係deal breaker, 視乎張lease年期同其它細terms, 如果剩餘年期夠長eg. 200+ yrs 又無其它限制,咁freehold同leasehold嘅分別可能就係果每年幾鎊至百幾鎊ground rent
當然要係咪都要睇清楚張lease

不過我係度住得1年後, 我其實唔會搵d 咁近city 既地方住. In general 環境都係雜過住zone 3 外. 我自己買完zone 3 既屋, 而家都嫌仲係太近city, 我應該買zone 4 外.
治安真係有明顯分別, 你住得近city. 同香港生活模式好唔同. 你係香港差極咪深水埗咁. 呢度你揀地區錯, 係真係多傷人案, 見血架. 就算唔係傷人, 近city 既爆屋案係明顯多過你住zone 4 外.

最終都係睇你有幾多budget.
leasehold 都係睇番個terms. 你要知個間屋仲有幾多年要續個lease. 你唔可以買低過80年lease 既褸, 因為續個lease 會好貴. 不過你住落去, 你eventually 都係要俾錢續.

另外其他野就係ground rent 同service charges. ground rent 要睇番個terms 幾錢, 幾耐會double 一次個收費. 而service charges 係新apartment, london average 價係£2000 一年. 舊d 既apartment 當然平d. 最後就係你對間屋既權限. 你裝修係需要問業主有乜野做得, 有乜野唔做得. 你無最終話事權點樣攪間屋. 個權係freeholder 手. 撇除對間屋既權限問題, leasehold 平咁多主要係佢係其他地方會慢慢問你攞番. 不過佢俾時間你慢慢俾. 對唔夠budget 既人係有一定吸引力.
就算大部份本地人, 都係以freehold 為人生最終目標, 不過可能會先買leasehold 上車先咁. 因為freehold 個價真係同區內, 以london 黎計, 貴£100k 以上, same location, same size. 價錢反影左個demand. 而且好多係唔止貴£100k.
我自己選擇係一定搵再遠d 既地方買freehold. 其實現時個催勢都係本地人一路向zone 5 外遷移. 我成條team 既同事, 無一個住係zone 5 內.
