I think the Dutch government requires people applying for naturalisation to give up their original nationality. You may need to renounce your Chinese / British BN(O) nationality in order to get Dutch citizenship.

I think the Dutch government requires people applying for naturalisation to give up their original nationality. You may need to renounce your Chinese / British BN(O) nationality in order to get Dutch citizenship.

That's just what I want to do, I'm planning to renounce both. For the record one never gets dual citizenship in conjunction with a Dutch one unless one of your parents are Dutch. Regardless, HK permanent residency is my in born right.

That's just what I want to do, I'm planning to renounce both. For the record one never gets dual citizenship in conjunction with a Dutch one unless one of your parents are Dutch. Regardless, HK permanent residency is my in born right.

For your information, I did ask those bitches from ABN AMRO they haven't been issuing bank cheques for quite some time, bank transactions are mostly digitalised and they don't see the need of cheque books anymore.
And as a holder of European Union citizenship, you enjoy the freedom of movement (I thought it's common sense) implicating you could literally move to the Alps that spans across a handful of countries including France, Germany, Austria, and Italy (you name it) with an elevation of 4000 meters up.
