What do you think about early childhood education? Is there any potential ?

I am a retired tax auditor. I have been to many mining companies' head office in large cities and their mine sites out in the wilderness.
There are some Asian working at their head office (accounting and tax department) etc. But there were no Asian working at the mine site. Those who looked like "Asian" are actually "native( first nations)'. I was mistaken as a 'native' more than a few times.
Working under a mine is a very physical demanding job. I doubt most "Asian" can tolerate that. I had to go down the mines on many occasions and I couldn't stand more than an hour. one of the gold mine I visited is over 6000 feet deep. It took 90 minutes one way to go down by elevator.
It may be faster now because they installed a new elevator a few years ago.

I am not alone. I know people who received stock options etc. over ten folds their salaries.

agree. At least in my social circle, even myself included. We are physically lackluster to locals that are born here and used to physical labor. For the younger ones coming here, they much are able to tough it up. But strength requirement even for working at a Walmart here is a lot higher than comparative jobs in HK. I think simply saying that working at trades is a straight easy path that anyone one can do would be an overstatement.
