Indeed but with an F4 max aperture ? for those standard focal lengths from 35mm to 50mm FOV equivalents , most serious users would have at least one bright prime for whichever focal length they favor as their standard focal length. My favourite normal focal length happens to be 20mm but even so on that rumoured zoom lens 8-20mm I doubt I would use the 20mm fov much when I can mount the Lumix 20mm which has a much brighter aperture of f1/7Everyone has different needs I guess. In can speak only by own behalf, but for me 8-25mm f4 is enough eventhough it’s only f4. I use 12-45 f4 professionally in paid gigs, so I don’t see why f4 could not be used ”seriously” or even professionally. It depends of the needs. And for landscape photography, I usually shoot smaller aperture than f4 anyway.
