International Supply Chain, 簡單D黎講,就係管理哂個客成條supply chain, 由訂單(PO, purchase order),貨運, (shipping),直到inland delivery, 甚至係DC, destination distribution center都會管理, 即係由落貨到送貨,包生養死葬
做得ISC嘅客,貨量一定有返咁上下, 一年冇幾千個T都唔洗諗,而且份約一簽就簽幾年。點解?講到明連PO都要管理,細到張單有咩item,每件item幾錢都會知,要求system (客人)同System (ISC)之間有聯繫, 做到EDI。客人可以隨時隨地透過系統知道佢地件貨去到邊,或許隻櫃裝左咩訂單。
因為有高度承諾, 所以每個客都唔會輕易就轉。ISC會提一系列嘅物流服務,倉儲、集裝、貨運、清關、配送、VAS (包括QC, repackaging, labeling 等等), 每次set up都要好多時間同投資,由system之間個配合,到warehouse, 每條trade lane 個價錢, local tariff。亦因為咁, ISC個收入係有一定保證,只要你手上有幾個大客。

The situation is changing. Carriers reduce the capacity year by year, almost decrease 17% compared to the peak (roughly)

上年飛機好景,今年好差 :^(
差成點?
感覺年年都差唔多(咁差)
上年airlines spot平,margin大。另外客收到風market平左,要求手16-17年contract減價。
但係今年airlines情願吉機或者剪機都唔會落賤價
今年airlines真係好鬼進取, 好似因航簽bsa連excess都無埋, 價錢仲要再加少少, 好撚難搞 :^(
