No. EU is more an economic body rather than a military body. Sweden is not as neutral as in the past because it needs to modify a bit, but it is still as neutral as it is allowed. Sweden joined EU just for the economy. This is similar to U.K. which joined EU but maintained an independent foreign policy. Similarly, Sweden has its own foregin policyeven after it has joined EU.
Furthermore, Sweden's neutral is not the same as Switzerland; Sweden use arm force to protect its neutrality. In the 1970s , Sweden maintained the world's fifth powerful air force. Therefore, U.S.S.R. had always counted the Sweden's army even though Sweden was quite a neutral country.
