U.S.A CDC:
People who have been infected with the coronavirus and recovered are protected for up to three months and can safely interact with others, according to new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
It was the first definitive timeline the agency has offered regarding any type of immunity.
According to the guidance, which was updated in early August, people who have tested positive do not need to quarantine or get tested again for up to three months so long as they don't develop symptoms again.
For those who develop symptoms within the first three months, they are advised to get tested again "if there is no other cause identified for their symptoms," the CDC said.
