Singapore crosses 12,000 mark with 897 more cases
SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported a preliminary 897 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of Friday (24 April) noon, bringing the total to 12,075 – the highest recorded in Southeast Asia.
The vast majority of the new cases are foreign workers living in dorms, said the ministry, noting that 13 are Singaporeans and permanent residents.
