Details of the five cases:
Employee 1: The employee works at McDonald’s LIDO, and last day at work was on 2 April. The employee was also attached to work at the McDonald’s Parklane restaurant for one day on 30 March. The employee visited the doctor on 3 April for a sore throat and fever, and was given a 5-day MC. The employee visited the doctor again on 8 April and was sent for a swab test.
Employee 2: The employee works at McDonald’s LIDO, and last day at work was on 3 April, and had rest days from 4-6 April. The employee visited the doctor on 7 April for joint pains and muscle aches.
Employee 3: The employee works at McDonald’s Parklane, and last day at work was on 8 April. The employee was also attached to work at the McDonald’s LIDO restaurant on 30 March, 1, 2, 3 and 6 April. The employee visited the doctor on 9 April for a fever.
Employee 4: The employee works at McDonald’s Forum Galleria, and last day at work was on 8 April. The employee is a room mate of Employee 3. Although Employee 4 was not unwell, the company requested the employee to go for a swab test on 10 April.
Employee 5: The employee works at McDonald’s Geylang East Central, and last day at work was on 8 April. The employee visited the doctor on 9 April for a fever and was referred to the hospital for a swab test.
