Dear Director of Broadcasting,
I'm writing to indicate my full support for RTHK, in particular its programme《頭條新聞》, for its unbiased reporting and commenting of current events. Recently, an episode of this programme had touched on the questionable allocation of medical resources to the HK Police and their work (or lack thereof) in fighting against the coronavirus. I believe the majority of the people of HK who truly care about the society and follow closely the development of current events would agree with what the programme had reported and commented in this recent episode. Hence, I think the letter from the PPRB of HK Police, which criticizes the programme for its recent reporting, is inappropriate and constitutes a blatant intervention of the freedom of press.
