Chan has background trained in Marketing from a good university in Australia. So, she is more experienced to position herself , identify the group of target audience (maybe blueC) and then SELL. Her body language is more relaxed. No problem on self confidence. I felt like she treated herself as a big sister talking to a young brother.
gPhone next time can be more relaxed. FIRM and STEADY ! Speaking too fast gave people a sense of anxiety or lack of experience. Body language are 80% of the language during ANY public appearance. Audience mostly buy on PERCEPTION !
Hope that gphone will not underestimate her. She won Erica Yuen ( trained in Econ in a good university on Econ.) in 2015.
Attacking her low productivity ( # of bills submitted), disappearance her and there during critical moments... are all great !! BUT he needs to predict HER responses before coming to public debate and FOLLOW through by 2nd , 3rd round of attack, seek the TIME duration advantage, seek the control !!
She was not slow and gave a quick ok rebuttal ( in fact, excuse). BUT gphonee did not follow through , BITE hard on her rebuttal, and corner her !!!
gPhone is great, but I still hope he has at least 2-3 more SENIOR veterans in age/experience, who are great at public debate, can help gPhone rehearse the public debate and give feedback on his attack strategies !!!
In USA. campaign IS A VERY SERIOUS business !!! Very capital and technology intensive war !!! Different departments....eg.. A firm like Cambridge Analytica used data mining TECHNOLOGY on all social media data for campaign candidate ( spending miliions ) to figure out the details on the their clients' election campaign ( words to say, web site to use, ad to put, group to target, etc..)

It is a total SELLING package in front of your TARGET groups!!!
Both your verbal 15% and NON-verbal language 80% are important !! Contents are ONLY part of it.
Every SECOND is a CHESS game and war.
( people do NOT buy on facts , nobody has time to investigate....)
