Yesterday i assigned four hours for practicing their songs on my trumpet, cornet, trombone, euphonium, french horn and tuba. I practised with my friends who play glockenspiel, xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, timpani (kettle-drum), chimes and celesta, all of which have definite pitch. Adding these percussion instruments makes the music more rhythmic. Saxophone, clarinet and bass clarinet are single reed instruments. Cor anglais (english horn), oboe, bassoon and contrabassoon are double reed instruments. Flute is a reedless instrument. Cor anglais, saxophone and clarinet are transposing instruments.
