於 12/8/2019，有一名利物浦球迷，於銅鑼灣參與反送中條例抗爭，喺一個警方嘅疑似臥底行動中被捕。根據本港新聞媒體報道及其片段顯示，有疑似警員，涉嫌將類似竹枝嘅物體，放在被捕人士嘅袋或背囊內，令人不禁對事件表達深切關注，會否對該被捕人士不公。另外，該名被捕人士亦於上述事件中受傷，情況實在令人關注及擔心。
相信大家作為利物浦球迷，都會知道喺英國嘅利物浦球迷及家屬，多年來鍥而不捨地為希斯堡路球場慘劇嘅受害者及罹難人士討回公道，務求令公義及真相得以彰顯，展現 YNWA 嘅精神。現今港人多難，強權暴政不息，民間受苦。政府漠視市民訴求，藉著警方濫權濫暴嘅鐵腕執法手段，嚟解決呢個嚴重嘅政治風暴，令廣大嘅香港市民深感悲憤。為咗令更多來自唔同界別、唔同地方及所有關心香港局勢嘅人士，關心及了解上述事件，若果由今日起，將上述事件嘅情況，透過社交平台與上述唔同嘅人士與平台作出分享，包括各大嘅利迷相關社群，甚或利物浦相關之社交平台等等，相信有助佢哋知悉、關注、了解及聲援該名被捕嘅利迷，增加佢得到有關當局公平處理及對待嘅機會。
